Iffat is a Research Assistant and PhD candidate at the Chair of Computational Intelligence and Chair of Mechanical Process Engineering at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OVGU). She is currently engaged in an interdisciplinary research project that combines computational intelligence and fluid mechanics. Her research focuses on the implementation of Evolutionary Algorithms and Machine Learning techniques in Fluid-Particle systems. Iffat's educational background includes the completion of the Digital Engineering Master's program at the same university in 2022.
